I wanted to start a conversation here about how we talk about what we do. I know I wrote about this long ago and wanted to quote that prophetic paragraph. Can I find it?
I'm trying to remember the title of a page that captured important thinking at the dawn of federated wiki. I round up the usual suspects, 5961 pages on 17 sites, then pick the 15 most frequently cited hubs. These and their blankets make for 157 nodes to look through as graphs.
But wait, I have right here a way to talk about this search with the language offered by Mech. Have a look. See what `WALK 15 hubs` dug up. Then I'll quote the remembered paragraph so you can just scroll down to that.
This paragraph written 12 years ago anticipates a continued evolution in markup. Mech is then a bold step forward in how we talk about what we do. I've got something new up my sleeve but will pause now to admire the path we've taken getting here.
> What words will mean things in the context of various representations? How will they form sentences that get things done? If each representation has its own markup how will these expressions influence representations outside their realm of discourse.

Here I have reminded our online community of a principle guiding our work. At the time of this writing the CODE block was only an experiment. matrix ![]()
Our intention is to dynamically construct and import a module from text on the wiki page. Eric Dobbs demonstrated this technique which we've used on occasion. github ![]()
